For the 7 young veterans who are the crew of A4-K, preparing to take off on a bombing mission over Germany, everything is about to change. This will be the night their luck runs out. Within 5 hours, all but 2 of the crew will be dead and Lancaster A4-K reduced to so many tons of scrap metal, spread across the Stuttgart countryside.
