Return to Mission

The eye witness to the crash reports that the aircraft flew in from the south west before it crashed. This confirms that the aircraft flew in from Stuttgart. The War Office states that the aircraft just missed a strip of pine forest 170mrs long and 20 mtrs wide. There is an exact strip adjacent to Gaitenhof. In the field next to this on the satellite image, there is a distinct ground anomaly (Impact?). Flying time from Stuttgart to Gaitenhof is approx 7 minutes. (less than 40kms).
